Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant to join a large-scale SAP transformation and implementation program. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on functional expert with strong experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), capable of leading solution design, configuration, implementation, and global deployment activities.

This role is focused on large-scale transformation and solution delivery, rather than routine production support. The consultant will work as part of a global implementation team supporting the deployment and standardization of SAP EWM processes across a complex, multi-site warehouse environment.

The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of warehouse and supply chain business processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP EWM solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall SAP functional experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP EWM experience.
• Strong experience with at least 2 full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations.
• Proven experience in SAP EWM solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production go-live.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and distribution business processes.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Inbound and outbound processing
  • Putaway and picking strategies
  • Warehouse task and warehouse order management
  • Physical inventory
  • Handling Unit Management
  • Internal warehouse processes
  • RF/mobile warehouse processes
  • Exception management
• Strong understanding of SAP EWM integration with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP supply chain modules.
• Experience conducting workshops, gathering requirements, and performing fit-gap analysis.
• Experience creating functional design documents and working with ABAP and integration teams.
• Strong experience supporting SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
