Senior Tableau & Snowflake Developer

Location; Remote

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tableau & Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimise enterprise-grade analytics and reporting solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and onsite/offshore teams to translate requirements into scalable dashboards and data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

·         Tableau Development

·         Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualisations.

·         Translate business requirements and KPIs into intuitive and actionable reporting solutions.

·         Develop efficient data models and calculated measures to support complex reporting requirements.

·         Optimise Tableau dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.

·         Work with both live connections and extracts based on reporting and performance requirements.

·         Support report rationalisation, enhancements, defect resolution, and production support.

·         Establish and follow dashboard development, publishing, and governance standards.

Snowflake & SQL Development

·         Develop and optimise complex SQL queries, views, and data transformations in Snowflake.

·         Design reporting-ready data models and datasets for Tableau consumption.

·         Perform data analysis, profiling, validation, and reconciliation across multiple data sources.

·         Troubleshoot data quality and reporting discrepancies across the reporting stack.

·         Analyse and improve Snowflake query performance. Snowflake documents optimisation approaches including clustering, materialised views, Search Optimisation Service, and Query Acceleration Service. 

·         Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on ingestion, transformation, and data-model changes.

Delivery & Stakeholder Management

·         Work directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

·         Own deliverables from requirement analysis through development, testing, deployment, and production support.

·         Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide accurate estimates and delivery updates.

·         Perform code/design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

·         Collaborate effectively in an onsite-offshore delivery model.
