1.Independently designs and executes mixed-methods studies, choosing appropriate methods to answer the research question, and adapts when constraints change.
2.Quantitative competence: survey design and sampling, data cleaning and weighting, and analysis using standard statistical techniques (a scripting/stats tool such as R, Python, or SPSS).
3.Qualitative depth — leading and adapting varied qual methods, and evaluating assumptions and inferences to produce objective, actionable recommendations
Nice-to-have Skills:
1.Experience conducting international or multi-market research.
2.Experience working with in-house survey platforms and large-scale behavioral/log data alongside primary research.
Job Description:
Product Risk & Compliance research sits within Risk Analytics & Research and provides the user-insight foundation identifies, understands, and mitigates product risk across the family of apps. Research partners closely with Compliance, Legal, Policy, Product Management, Design, and Data Science. This role provides coverage while FTE researchers are on leave, so continuity on in-flight programs is the priority.
Execute on research programs that shape product and policy direction, not just individual studies. Build comprehensive research plans that cut across business areas, consistently lead highly complex, large-scale, and/or Client qual and quant programs, providing methodological direction in ambiguous situations. Impact is expected to span multiple teams across Product Risk and Compliance.
Education/Experience:
• BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
