Electrical Controls Specialist in

As a
Electrical Controls Specialist, you will
:What will you do: - Controls/Technical support for various shift production including fabrication, metal finishing, and assembly, through troubleshooting and determining root causes for downtime events.
- Production barrier identification and elimination for various levels of automation including stamping presses, welders, conveyors, automated assembly, and robotics.
- Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including robotics, ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, pneumatic/hydraulic distribution
- Coordinate with production and maintenance on existing machine control modifications or installations
- Create, maintain and keep current all documentation: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC, operator display, operator interface, and robot programs.
What will make you successful: - Minimum 2 Year College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in the Electrical field
- Open to working 2nd shift and weekends
- Experience with Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems
- Strong PLC programming skills
- Electrical/Mechanical CAD Experience
- Motion Control / Robot programming / Machine Vision Experience
This is a Full-Time, Contract opportunity. Schedule: Monday- Friday (1st Shift) Location: 1601 Mercer RD, Lexington, Kentucky 40511 Duration: 06+ Months Pay Range: $40-$45 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate\'s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
