For this contractor assignment, the Applications Development Performance Engineering Team within the Enterprise Development Capabilities & Services (EDCS) organization has an exciting opportunity for a System Test Engineer Senior. This team provides application performance testing/engineering support to the overall Application Development Platform within our IT department. In this role resources work with a variety of application development teams ensuring their applications' performance is thoroughly tested and meets the enterprise performance standards.

responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Creating performance test plans
- Creating / writing performance test scripts
- Executing performance tests, and analyzing and delivering results
- Working with project teams to understand performance results, and making recommendations of how to improve application performance
qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years related work experience designing, programming and supporting software programs and applications.
- {OR} Completion of a technical training program and a minimum 4 years related work experience designing, programming and supporting software programs and applications.
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology or related field of study (e.g. Engineering, Math, Science) and a minimum 4 years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
