RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Dynatrace Engineer. This role is 100% Remote.
Summary:
Our client is seeking two experienced Dynatrace Engineers to help strengthen enterprise observability, improve asset ownership visibility, and automate incident-management processes. This is a hands-on technical opportunity focused on optimizing Dynatrace capabilities, implementing effective tagging and ownership models, and developing automated workflows that improve incident detection, routing, and response. The Engineers will play an important role in improving monitoring effectiveness, reducing manual intervention, and helping decrease mean time to repair (MTTR) for major incidents.
What You'll Do:
* Implement and optimize Dynatrace tagging and asset ownership models to establish clear accountability across monitored assets
* Develop, configure, and enhance Dynatrace Workflows to automate incident detection, routing, and response
* Utilize Dynatrace APIs and scripting to develop automation solutions and improve observability processes
* Design new tagging and automation approaches or implement and enhance existing strategies
* Identify opportunities to streamline incident-management workflows and reduce manual processes
* Improve monitoring and incident-response capabilities to support faster identification and resolution of major incidents
* Support integrations between Dynatrace and IT service management (ITSM) or incident-response platforms as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing Dynatrace in enterprise environments
* Demonstrated experience with Dynatrace tagging, including asset identification, ownership models, and tagging strategies
* Hands-on experience developing and managing Dynatrace Workflows and automation
* Experience working with Dynatrace APIs to support automation and platform functionality
* Solid understanding of enterprise observability, monitoring, and incident-management processes
* Proficiency with scripting to automate operational tasks, monitoring processes, or Dynatrace workflows
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience integrating Dynatrace with ITSM platforms for incident creation, routing, escalation, or management
* Experience integrating Dynatrace with incident-response or alert-management tools
* Experience designing observability, tagging, or automation strategies for enterprise environments
* Demonstrated success improving incident-response efficiency and reducing mean time to repair (MTTR)
* Familiarity with Freshservice or experience integrating Dynatrace with Freshservice
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
