We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile
Applied Cloud Architect - Product & Platform to lead the design, development, and delivery of cloud-based solutions that directly drive business value.
This role blends
architecture, product thinking, and hands-on engineering. You will define and drive the
technical roadmap aligned to product outcomes, while also building and operationalizing solutions in a production environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a senior individual contributor who thrives in

Key Responsibilities- Define and drive the technical roadmap aligned with product strategy and business priorities in a highly regulated environment
- Translate product requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud architectures
- Design, build, and deploy cloud-native solutions using Google Cloud Platform (preferred), AWS, or Azure
- Act as a bridge between product, engineering, and stakeholders, shaping both "what" gets built and "how"
- Lead the development of data, AI/ML, and application platforms in the cloud
- Implement and operationalize end-to-end solutions, including data pipelines, APIs, and ML workflows
- Establish and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, security, performance, and cost optimization
- Drive MLOps/DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring
- Own delivery of key features and platforms, ensuring they are production-ready, scalable, and measurable
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and integrate innovations that accelerate product capabilities
Required Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or applied data/ML systems
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (e.g., Vertex AI, BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Functions) or equivalent platforms
- Experience with design and implement scalable cloud architectures
- Python programming experience
- Experience building and deploying data pipelines, APIs, and/or ML solutions in production
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Experience operating across both technical execution and product-oriented thinking
- 10% travel required

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $185,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
