Summary

Job Description

What you'll bring

15+ years of experience in product architecture, product management, technical strategy, infrastructure architecture, or related cloud infrastructure leadership roles.

IC6/principal-level experience shaping product direction for cloud infrastructure, platform services, distributed systems, or AI infrastructure.

Deep experience with one or more core cloud domains: Compute, Storage, Networking, AI infrastructure, accelerated compute, virtualization, Kubernetes, bare metal, distributed storage, cloud service platforms, or capacity systems.

Prior experience at a hyperscaler, neo-cloud, AI infrastructure company, or large-scale infrastructure platform company is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to translate complex infrastructure technology into product strategy, customer value, roadmap priorities, and executable requirements.

Strong understanding of cloud customer needs, including performance, reliability, availability, latency, quota/capacity behavior, cost, security, compliance, and operational transparency.

Experience working with senior engineering teams on service architecture, platform constraints, scaling bottlenecks, launch readiness, lifecycle management, and technical tradeoffs.

Strong written communication skills, including product requirements, strategy documents, architecture decision records, business cases, roadmap narratives, launch plans, and executive updates.

Ability to influence without direct authority across product, engineering, field, operations, finance, capacity, security, legal, marketing, and executive stakeholders.

Experience with enterprise customers, AI/ML workloads, high-performance computing, GPU infrastructure, cloud networking, distributed storage, or large-scale compute platforms is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

Define product and architecture strategy for core OCI infrastructure services across Compute, Storage, Networking, AI infrastructure, accelerated compute, bare metal, virtualization, distributed storage, cloud networking, and capacity/platform services.

Translate customer, field, market, and competitive signals into clear service requirements, roadmap priorities, tradeoff decisions, service narratives, and execution plans.

Partner with engineering leaders to evaluate technical designs, service boundaries, scalability limits, reliability models, platform behavior, operational risk, and long-term lifecycle implications.

Drive product decisions for performance, availability, cost efficiency, security, compliance, quota and capacity behavior, observability, supportability, customer experience, and operational readiness.

Develop product requirements, architecture decision documents, business cases, competitive positioning, adoption plans, pricing/packaging inputs, and launch readiness materials for new infrastructure capabilities.

Work directly with strategic customers, sales, solutions architecture, and field teams to understand workload requirements and translate them into product improvements.

Benchmark OCI capabilities against hyperscalers, neo-clouds, AI infrastructure providers, and specialized infrastructure companies to identify differentiation opportunities and product gaps.

Lead ambiguous, multi-team initiatives where architecture, customer demand, capacity, cost, reliability, and delivery tradeoffs must be resolved at senior-product level.

Shape portfolio strategy across Compute, Storage, Networking, and AI infrastructure by identifying platform adjacencies, service integration opportunities, and customer-facing simplification paths.

Mentor product managers and partner with senior engineers to raise the quality of product strategy, requirements, decision documents, roadmap governance, and execution discipline.
