RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Kansas City, MO that is looking for a Program Director, Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO), to drive execution rigor, transparency, and alignment across critical strategic programs and enterprise priorities.
Summary:
Reporting to the VP, EPMO, this role partners with business owners, executive sponsors, and cross-functional leaders to translate strategic priorities into integrated execution plans, drive disciplined delivery, and provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes. The Program Director will also help establish and mature the EPMO, shaping governance, operating rhythms, portfolio visibility, execution standards, and reporting practices.
Responsibilities:
* Lead complex, cross-functional strategic programs from planning through delivery
* Translate business priorities into integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, commitments, and measurable outcomes
* Partner with business owners to align execution with targeted outcomes and success measures
* Coordinate across workstreams and teams to drive alignment and delivery
* Proactively identify and resolve risks, dependencies, execution gaps, and blockers
* Track milestones, KPIs, delivery confidence, and value realization
* Drive program governance, reporting, and operating cadences that support transparency and timely decision-making
* Facilitate program reviews, executive steering committees, and decision-making forums
* Provide leadership with visibility into program health, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
* Help evolve EPMO processes, governance frameworks, tools, and execution standards
* Bring structure and discipline to complex initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on accountability and results
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Advanced degree or program management certification preferred
* 10+ years of program, transformation, business operations, or enterprise execution experience, including leadership of large cross-functional initiatives
* Proven track record leading large, complex cross-functional initiatives and measurable business outcomes
* Experience influencing senior leaders and driving alignment without direct authority
* Strong business acumen, analytical problem-solving, and executive communication skills
* Demonstrated success translating strategy into execution and measurable outcomes
* Proficiency with program management, reporting, and collaboration tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
