Job Description About DTMB:The supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
About this position:First level supervisor responsible for project management staff in the Program Management Office (PMO) supporting MDHHS. Provide oversight and leadership for the project management functions supporting the agencies. Provide mentoring and support to senior and junior project managers to ensure that the State Unified Information Technology Environment (SUITE) methodology is consistently followed. Interface with Agency Services managers. Escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.

Position Location:This position is located in Lansing, MI. This position may work a hybrid (remote/office) schedule with 2 days required in the office per week. Selected candidates who have been approved to work a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Signing Bonus:This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $3,500. Up to $1,750 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.

Required Education and Experience EducationPossession of a bachelor's degree with not less than 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
ExperienceThree years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure, Programmer/Analyst or IT Project Coordinator P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure, Programmer/Analyst or IT Project Coordinator 12.
Alternate Education and Experience Three years of experience as a computer programming supervisor or Information Technology
Supervisor may be substituted for the education and experience.

Vacation and Sick Leave: Eligible full-time employees receive between

Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees can take
12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
