We are seeking a skilled Custom Software Engineer to join our Financial Services engineering group. In this role, you will build and modernize scalable enterprise applications that drive core software solutions for a leading banking environment.

responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and enhance custom backend components using Java and WebSphere.
- Implement cloud-aware application components with AWS integrations.
- Collaborate with agile teams to deliver key technical milestones on schedule.
- Optimize application performance, code quality, and system scalability.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
5+ years of professional development experience with Java.
5+ years of hands-on experience working with WebSphere application servers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Prior domain experience in Banking or Financial Services.
Strong background in Agile delivery methods and excellent client communication skills.
