job summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java / AWS Software Engineer to build and optimize mission-critical payment transaction systems for a major financial services platform. You will work within an Agile team to design and deploy custom, scalable cloud applications that drive core banking operations.

responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain cloud-native backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
- Architect high-performing payment processing solutions that align with security and scalability standards.
- Partner with technical lead developers and cross-functional teams to resolve complex system bottlenecks.
- Drive continuous technical improvements through high-quality code, peer reviews, and automated testing.
qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
5+ years of software engineering experience utilizing Spring Boot and Java frameworks.
5+ years of hands-on expertise building and managing applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Background in the banking sector, specifically working with payment processing or financial transactions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Exposure to JavaScript and frontend framework fundamentals.
Strong track record of working in collaborative, Agile team environments.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interface directly with stakeholders.
