Job Title: Data Entry Clerk IIIDuration: 4 Weeks plus
Location: Austin, TX (Remote)
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Range: $15/hr - $19.19/hr on W2 (DOE)
Working Hrs: 9 AM -5 PM CST
Key Responsibilities- Review approximately 330 legal documents as part of a document migration project.
- Locate and identify specific data values for 12 predefined attributes within each document.
- Extract information such as:
- Contract type
- Effective date
- Other required document attributes
- Accurately enter extracted data into a provided Excel worksheet/template.
- Follow established procedures and data-entry guidelines consistently.
- Review entries for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Identify missing, unclear, or conflicting information and consult with the Legal team as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling legal and business documents.
- Complete assigned document-processing tasks within established timelines.
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in data entry, document processing, administrative support, records management, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to read, interpret, and extract information from written documents.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to ask questions when information is unclear.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience reviewing contracts, legal documents, business records, or other structured documents.
- Experience working with large volumes of documents or data.
- Previous experience in legal, compliance, records management, or document migration projects.
- Familiarity with document management systems or data migration processes.
TrainingTraining will be provided on the project requirements, document attributes, data extraction process, and worksheet/template used for data entry.
