Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Duration: Contract - 4+ months (possible extension)
Pay Rate Range: $30 - $33.82 per hour (DOE)
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL/data pipelines supporting merchant onboarding and data integrations.
- Analyze, transform, and validate merchant data feeds (JSON, XML, CSV, TXT) into standardized schemas using SQL.
- Develop and maintain SQL transformations in Databricks (Spark SQL preferred) while ensuring data quality and pipeline reliability.
- Investigate production data issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Technical Account teams to deliver merchant integrations.
- Document transformation logic, mapping specifications, and identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, data integration, or data analytics.
- Strong SQL expertise with experience building or maintaining ETL/data pipelines; Databricks/Spark SQL experience preferred.
- Experience working with JSON, XML, CSV, flat-file integrations, data transformation, schema mapping, and validation.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
