AWS/Azure Cloud Engineer

The State of South Carolina is looking for an AWS/Azure Cloud Engineer

• Perform system administration, automation, and development tasks for the Cloud Management Platform (CMP).
• Work with DTO and customer personnel to facilitate migrations to the DTO cloud infrastructure.

• 10 years infrastructure, systems engineering, DevOps, or architecture
• 8+ years technical architecture
• 5-7 years AWS (IAM, Organizations, Networking Architectures, Cost Mgmt controls, etc.)
• 3-5 years Azure (RBAC, Azure AD, Networking Architectures, Cost Mgmt controls, etc.)
• 3-7 years enterprise cloud architecture or governance
• 3-5 years Terraform and infrastructure as a code
• 3-5 years cloud migrations and platform operations
• 3+ years technical leadership and knowledge transfer
• Public Cloud infrastructure expertise

• Expertise in Terraform infrastructure as code, understanding of scaling technologies and solutions, experience with AWS or other clouds, familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container platforms, security, penetration testing and threat detection tools, and experience ServiceNow, Datadog, Dome9, and/or Aviatrix.
• Background in DevOps, Software Development, Site Reliability, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience with configuration management and continuous deployment.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems and 8+ years of technical architecture experience and relevant hands-on engineering.

• AWS and\or Azure certifications preferred
