Summary

Role Summary
The Azure Cloud Support Engineer provides operational support for Azure-hosted applications and cloud services, with a strong focus on troubleshooting and platform reliability. This role supports day-to-day cloud operations, investigates production issues, and partners with development and technical stakeholders to resolve incidents and improve service stability. While centered on Azure, the position also supports preparation for a future migration to AWS.

Responsibilities 

  • Support and maintain Azure-hosted applications and services in production environments
  • Manage and troubleshoot Azure API Management and private API environments
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents and operational issues
  • Partner with development teams to support application enhancements and issue resolution
  • Assist with onboarding, integration, and ongoing support for new APIs
  • Improve platform resiliency, reliability, and high availability for Azure services
  • Support day-to-day cloud operations and implement ongoing operational enhancements
  • Provide occasional support for Azure networking and connectivity needs
  • Coordinate with technical stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of service-impacting issues

Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments in production
  • Hands-on experience with Azure API Management and API integrations
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Azure networking, security, and cloud infrastructure fundamentals
  • Ability to prioritize work and communicate effectively with technical stakeholders
  • Azure certifications are a plus but not required
  • AWS exposure is a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. 
  • Availability to support operational needs as incidents and priorities arise

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.

Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 - $67.00 hourly
