Role Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Planner for a 2nd shift opportunity in San Antonio, TX. The selected candidate will support the technical statement of work for the GFE Production Engineering team. This role involves planning and leading processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead department processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, and work instructions.
- Develop and plan manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
- Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports.
- Lead the integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology.
- Participate in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
- Develop complex tooling requirements and manage tooling from initial design to disposition.
- Lead investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing-related issues.
- Lead teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts.
- Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
- Translate design requirements from Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of manufacturing planning experience.
- Experience with GOLD.
- Experience with Microsoft Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Boeing is preferred.
Work Environment
- This position requires working in a factory environment and the ability to navigate conditions such as walking and using steps and scaffolding.
- This is a 100% onsite position. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate at their own expense.
- The work schedule is a 4x10 second shift.
Additional Information
- Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement for this role.
- Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.
- This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. A background check will be conducted.
