The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full-time IT Specialist, GG-2210-12, located at the 91st Cyberspace Operations Squadron (COS) at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.

This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.

In this position, you will serve as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist serving in an operational capacity, performing assignments designed to orient operators into the area of Information Warfare to identify and analyze threats to USAF and DoD personnel, interests, and resources worldwide.

Must possess a TS/SCI clearance
Must sign a non-disclosure agreement
Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program
A pre-employment physical examination is required and a condition of employment
Knowledge of a full range of network systems (LAN/WAN) design principles, methodologies, and approaches used in developing, testing, installing, operating, managing, and maintaining network services that support functional requirements
Knowledge of IO and the interplay of geographical, political, military, economic, and industrial forces in various regions of the world, focusing on intelligence and 91 COS Ops threat entities, operations, and capabilities that may be directed against USAF, DoD, and other U.S. resources
Knowledge of 91 COS Ops and U.S. intelligence community policies, entities, missions, resources, operations, capabilities, databases, and requirements to perform intelligence research planning, operations collection, target analysis, and other intelligence collection-related activities
Ability to quickly assimilate disparate data and render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implications of such data, and to apply facts and estimates derived from numerous sources to a variety of problems having different technical aspects
Information Assurance Certification is a condition of employment. This position includes information assurance (IA) work as a paramount duty requirement. Per DoD 8570.01-M, the incumbent must achieve Level I Information Assurance Technical (IAT) certification within six months of assignment. A waiver may be granted per DoD 8570.01-M, C3.2.4.2 or C3.2.4.3. Failure to receive proper IA certification may result in removal from this position.
Desired Experience: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kabana (ELK), Risk Management Framework, ISSO core knowledge, Data Ingest & Analytics core knowledge
