We are seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the evolution of our product development operating system within our Innovation Center. As a highly influential individual contributor, you will drive enterprise-wide improvements to how products are developed, built, transferred to manufacturing, and commercialized.
Partnering across R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Program Management, you will establish scalable engineering processes, governance, and best practices that improve development speed, product quality, manufacturing readiness, and organizational capability.

Where you come in:Business Process Transformation & Product Development Excellence- Develop and continuously improve the organization's business processes from product development concept through commercial launch.
- Establish standardized processes, governance, and engineering best practices across the Innovation Center.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce development cycle time while improving product quality and manufacturing readiness.
- Identify systemic inefficiencies and implement scalable process improvements throughout the site
Design Transfer & Manufacturing Readiness- Lead initiatives that improve the transition of products from R&D into Operations and high-volume manufacturing.
- Develop standardized design transfer methodologies, deliverables, and readiness assessments.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to improve manufacturability early in product development.
- Improve collaboration between engineering and operations to minimize post-transfer engineering changes and minimize non-conformances.

Travel Required: Experience and Education Requirements: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Master's degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.
