Job Overview:
The organization s Guest & Host Technology team is seeking a Contract Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive execution across Cancellations, Reservations, and Services programs. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role embedded within the Core Host engineering organization, supporting business-critical surfaces on the platform including systems that manage how hosts and guests navigate bookings, changes, and service delivery. The successful candidate will work directly with Engineering, Product, Design, and Data Science to ensure features ship on time, dependencies are managed proactively, and the team moves with clarity and purpose.
Responsibilities:
- Own program execution for Cancellations, Reservations, and Services initiatives, tracking milestones, surfacing risks, and driving resolution across Web, iOS, and Android engineering teams.
- Partner with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Product Managers to align roadmaps, sequence work, and ensure cross-team dependencies are visible and unblocked.
- Drive the delivery of key workstreams including cancellation policy systems, reservation management flows, host/guest service tooling, and related trust and support infrastructure.
- Run regular program cadences, including standups, cross-functional syncs, and stakeholder updates, to keep progress visible and escalate issues appropriately.
- Identify and mitigate technical and execution risks before they become blockers.
- Contribute to bi-annual product release planning by managing Cancellations, Reservations, and Services workstreams through the organization s product lifecycle.
- Translate complex technical work into clear status communications for engineering directors and senior leadership.
Candidate Profile:
- 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience, with a track record of driving cross-functional software programs to completion.
- Experience working on consumer-facing product surfaces, specifically reservations, cancellation flows, customer service tooling, or trust and safety systems.
- Ability to understand and reason about technical systems, including frontend/backend integrations and multi-platform delivery for Web, iOS, and Android.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead through influence.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and the ability to maintain program momentum.
- Experience with high-scale consumer platforms is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex tradeoffs for various audiences.
