🧪 Key Responsibilities
• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex voice-enabled systems.
• Test speech recognition accuracy, performance and usability across languages, accents and real-world conditions.
• Validate Azure Speech APIs at both API and application levels.
• Automate audio input, API validation, transcription comparison and regression testing.
• Evaluate new Speech/ML model versions against previous versions using accuracy, WER, latency and regression analysis.
• Test edge cases including pauses, silence, homophones, pronunciation variations, fast/slow speech, unclear audio and multiple speakers.
• Perform concurrent-session, load, scalability and stability testing.
• Develop functional, API, integration, performance, regression, usability and voice-quality test scenarios.
• Identify defects, coordinate with development teams and perform regression validation.
• Independently define test coverage, risks, test data, automation approach and execution strategy.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
🎓 Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• 6+ years of relevant QA/testing experience.
• Strong hands-on automation coding/framework experience is mandatory.
• Experience with TestNG is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Azure/cloud environments is preferred.
