Summary

What You'll Do:

Lead end-to-end design, development, deployment, and optimization of Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions.
Architect and implement scalable ML and GenAI pipelines on Azure Databricks and enterprise cloud platforms.
Translate business problems into robust machine learning solutions through data exploration, feature engineering, model development, and optimization.
Build and operationalize advanced AI applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architectures, and agentic AI frameworks.
Develop scalable inference and model serving solutions for batch and real-time workloads.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain ML and GenAI systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful AI solutions.
Drive adoption of MLOps and LLMOps best practices including CI/CD automation, testing, versioning, and lifecycle management.
Implement and optimize vector search, embeddings, semantic retrieval, and enterprise AI workflows.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence across the AI organization.
Ensure security, governance, compliance, and cost-effective operation of AI solutions in production.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently solve complex modeling challenges.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable AI and machine learning solutions.

What You Know:

5+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, or AI Engineering roles.
Proven track record of hands-on model building and solving real-world machine learning challenges independently.
Advanced proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks including Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
Deep expertise in Azure Databricks and Azure-based machine learning and data services.
Strong experience designing and deploying machine learning models from development through production.
Hands-on experience with Generative AI applications, LLMs, RAG systems, and agentic AI frameworks.
Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus, or Azure AI Search.
Experience with embeddings, semantic search, retrieval pipelines, and knowledge-grounded AI applications.
Strong understanding of model serving, inference pipelines, monitoring, and observability for AI systems.
Experience deploying and maintaining AI/ML solutions in enterprise production environments.
Knowledge of MLOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, testing, and automation.
Familiarity with containerization and deployment technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and REST APIs.
Experience working with GPU-accelerated machine learning and Generative AI workloads.
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (required).
Master's degree is a plus.

Interview Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated on coding skills through a hands-on technical exercise during the interview process.

Compensation Band:

$140K - $150K per annum
