We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our fast-growing e-commerce technology team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications, APIs, and microservices that power high-volume online shopping experiences. The role requires strong expertise in Python, cloud technologies, databases, and integrations with payment, inventory, and order management systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Develop features supporting e-commerce platforms such as product catalog, shopping cart, checkout, order management, inventory, and customer accounts.
Integrate third-party services including payment gateways, shipping providers, tax services, and ERP systems.
Optimize application performance for high-traffic environments.
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product managers.
Develop database models and optimize SQL queries.
Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
Monitor production systems and troubleshoot performance issues.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of Python development experience.
Strong experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Experience with Redis or Memcached for caching.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Strong understanding of Git version control.
Experience with unit testing using PyTest or UnitTest.
Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
