About Six Star Automotive
Six Star Automotive is an independent repair shop servicing Subaru, Toyota, Honda, Chevrolet, and other domestic and import vehicles in Sandpoint, ID.
Technicians work in an 8-bay, 8-lift facility with dedicated DVI support, established shop processes, and regular team meetings. The shop also invests in ongoing paid training and encourages technician feedback as the team continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose domestic and import vehicle concerns
- Perform automotive maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Complete assigned repairs efficiently and accurately
- Troubleshoot drivability and electrical concerns based on skill level
- Work with Service Advisors and team members to maintain workflow
- Follow established shop processes and quality standards
Qualifications
- 3?5+ years of professional automotive technician experience
- Ability to diagnose vehicle concerns and complete repairs independently
- Strong diagnostic experience preferred
- Drivability and electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Independent repair shop or dealership experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and commitment to quality workmanship
