Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 per year

The Opportunity: Our client is seeking an experienced CT/MRI Imaging Engineer to join their team in Maryland, supporting diagnostic imaging equipment within a hospital environment. This is an on-site position with a primary focus on CT, MRI, and Cath Lab systems. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment uptime, troubleshooting technical issues, completing preventive and corrective maintenance, and providing a high level of support to clinical teams. The position offers long-term stability, continued technical development and the opportunity to receive additional OEM training and certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CT, MRI and Cath Lab equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and system-level faults.
Respond to equipment failures and minimise downtime within the hospital.
Perform equipment calibrations, testing and safety inspections.
Support equipment installations, upgrades and system commissioning.
Diagnose complex technical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
Work with OEM technical support when required to resolve more complex faults.
Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain strong working relationships with radiology, clinical and hospital engineering teams.
Ensure all service activities are completed in accordance with OEM, regulatory and safety standards.
Provide technical support and guidance to other members of the engineering team where required.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
Previous hands-on experience servicing and repairing diagnostic imaging equipment.
Experience working on CT and/or MRI systems is highly desirable.
Cath Lab service experience is also strongly preferred.
Previous experience working for an OEM, Independent Service Organisation (ISO) or hospital-based imaging/clinical engineering department is welcomed.
OEM training or certifications are advantageous but not essential.
Technical Skills
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
Ability to diagnose and repair complex imaging equipment faults.
Understanding of preventive maintenance, calibration and equipment safety procedures.
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of equipment issues.
Experience working directly with clinical teams in a hospital environment.
