Our client is a growing healthcare technology provider delivering high-quality imaging equipment service and support across the U.S. They are looking for a motivated Junior Imaging Engineer to join their Maryland team and build a long-term career within medical imaging.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 6+ months of imaging service experience who is looking to receive OEM training, develop new technical skills, and progress into a Multi-Modality Imaging Engineer.

The Role

As a Junior Imaging Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced engineers, supporting hospitals and healthcare facilities with the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diagnostic imaging equipment.

Initially, you'll focus on general radiology systems, with ongoing training and career development to expand your knowledge into additional imaging modalities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on diagnostic imaging equipment.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair X-ray imaging systems.

Support equipment installations, upgrades, and system commissioning.

Assist senior engineers with complex service calls and technical issues.

Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.

Build strong working relationships with hospital staff and customers.

Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with OEM and regulatory standards.

Candidate Profile

Experience

Minimum 6 months' experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.

Previous experience with a hospital, OEM, or Independent Service Organisation (ISO) is preferred.

Technical Experience

Experience with some or all of the following equipment:

Digital X-ray

DR (Digital Radiography)

CR (Computed Radiography)

General Radiography Rooms

Portable X-ray Systems

Mobile X-ray Equipment

Personal Attributes

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Eager to learn and build a long-term career in medical imaging.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
