Title: Project Engineer – Civil Site Development

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Civil Site Development with strong hands-on experience in site development and civil design. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, an EIT certification, and strong proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
This role will lead and coordinate civil design projects involving residential, commercial, mixed-use, public/private, and DSA projects, from planning and design through permitting and construction. The position will work closely with project managers, clients, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in site development and civil design for a variety of projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with residential, commercial, mixed-use, public/private, and DSA projects.
- EIT certification required, with active progress toward obtaining a California PE license.
- Strong experience with Civil 3D and AutoCAD, including corridors, hydrology, and pipe networks.
- Experience with HydroCAD, WaterCAD, AutoTURN, or similar civil engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Grading and drainage
- Hydrology and hydraulics
- Stormwater quality
- Utilities
- Geometric layout
- Land development
- Ability to independently lead site development, grading/drainage, utility, street improvement, parking, and stormwater plans from planning through construction.
- Experience with project coordination, QA/QC, permitting, consultants, contractors, RFIs, submittals, site visits, and agency approvals.
- Good knowledge of state and local government agency requirements and permitting processes.
- Experience with project scheduling, budget tracking, billing/invoices, and client coordination.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
