Role Overview
Client's Networking s Strategy & Business Development team is looking for an experienced former management consultant to support high-priority strategic initiatives. The candidate should be able to operate like a top-tier Engagement Manager structuring ambiguous problems, driving strategic workstreams, managing stakeholders, and delivering executive-ready outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and run strategic projects end-to-end, including scope, workplans, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
Structure ambiguous business problems into clear hypotheses, analyses, and recommendations.
Drive engagement cadence, timelines, workstreams, and cross-functional contributors.
Develop and quality-control executive-ready presentations, storylines, and briefing materials.
Provide program management across multiple parallel initiatives.
Act as a thought partner to Strategy & Business Development leadership.
Must-Have Qualifications
3 4+ years of experience at McKinsey, Bain, or BCG.
At least 1 year as an Engagement Manager / Project Leader / Case Team Leader or equivalent.
Proven experience independently setting up and driving strategic projects/programs.
Strong problem structuring, analytical, and executive communication skills.
Working knowledge of the technology sector.
Currently operating as an independent contractor.
Strongly Preferred
Experience in networking / networking equipment, including enterprise, data center, campus, wireless, or service-provider environments.
Exposure to corporate strategy, M&A, partnerships, or business development.
Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional leadership teams.
