The engineer builds institutional AI capacity by incorporating approved AI-assisted workflows where they meaningfully improve quality, security, reliability, accessibility, documentation, and developer experience. AI-assisted work remains subject to human review and university requirements for privacy, security, data governance, accuracy, and responsible use.
