PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Product Owner Lead is a critical role focused on growing Owens Corning's global digital customer portfolio and serving as the voice of our customers for Roofing, Insulation, and Doors. This role ensures the voice of the customer is at the forefront to help our customers scale their business and win in their market. This role participates in customer engagement strategy, customer journey mapping, customer training, analytics, capacity planning, and project delivery. They ensure all activities meet legal, compliance, and governance standards such as privacy, accessibility, and copyright. Contributing to the portfolio backlog, budgeting, and stakeholder communications are key priorities. The incumbent is responsible for influencing enterprise-wide adoption of best practices, analytics integration, and cross-business collaboration. Additionally, this role champions portfolio and project management, and provides onboarding and training to advance software development and product-centric thinking. The Product Owner Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, Global Information Systems (GIS) team members, and third-party vendors to prioritize, design, test, and deploy solutions. The incumbent will need to intimately understand the business strategy, processes, and technologies to be effective and provide change leadership to multiple business stakeholder groups.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Product and Technology Leadership
- Requirements Analysis: Ensure successful implementation of project, process and/or product through the collection, analysis and clear documentation of business requirements.
- IT Quality Assurance: Utilize a variety of tools and testing methods to ensure the quality of solutions.
- Digital Transformation: Collaborate with other functions to enable digital transformation for pull-through program products and services
- Decision Making & Critical Thinking: Accurately analyze situations and reach decisions based on informed judgement.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaising with business leaders and stakeholders to allocate resources efficiently and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.
Project Execution
- Competitively Drive Results: Prioritize work assignments in alignment with team portfolio.
- IT Project Control & Reporting: Ability to monitor the vital signs of project to manage progress and delivery schedule
- Project Management: Ability to identify, own, and prioritize tasks to meet project milestones.
- Evaluate Effectiveness of Products & Initiatives: Improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness with participating stakeholders.
- Analytics Integration: Integrate analytics to optimize cross-business collaboration and competitive positioning.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Management Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ year(s) working on information technology projects, with the ability to successfully lead projects and leaders across regions and third parties
- 5+ Experience working directly with business teams (marketing, sales, communications, other business functions) that require understanding and translating business needs into technical implementation
EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with stakeholder management and effective communication across all levels of the organization
- Experience with data analytics tools and techniques to inform product decisions
- Possesses a combination of application development, IT strategy and relationship management experience that demonstrates an ability to both conceive and deliver solutions
- Working knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and best practices
