Job Title: Senior Salesforce Production Support Engineer
Job Location: Toronto, ON
Job Type: Contract
Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr
Job Overview:
Provide production support for a portfolio of technology and Global Investment Banking applications (Salesforce, Dealogic, Capital IQ, etc.), ensuring stability, automation, and efficient release management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 production support for front-office users across global platforms.
- Manage incident, problem, and change (ITIL) processes.
- Coordinate releases, bug fixes, and enhancements with internal teams and vendors.
- Improve system reliability through monitoring and automation (DevOps/CI-CD).
- Perform capacity planning and disaster recovery coordination.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing.
- Partner with business, technology, and compliance teams.
- Participate in on-call / weekend release rotation.
Experience Required:
- 7 to 12 years of experience in Application/Production Support.
- Prior experience in Capital Markets / Investment Banking platforms strongly preferred.
Primary Skills:
- Production Support (L2/L3) in enterprise applications.
- Scripting / Automation: Python (or similar).
- Systems & Databases: Linux/Windows and SQL.
- ITIL Processes: Incident, Problem, Change Management.
- Monitoring & Stability mindset (proactive support, root cause analysis).
Secondary Skills:
- Monitoring Tools: Geneos, AppDynamics, Dynatrace.
- Scheduling Tools: Control-M / Autosys.
- DevOps / CI-CD: Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible.
- Exposure to Cloud & Modern Tech: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Salesforce / Capital Markets platforms.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and automation-focused mindset.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
