Summary

Our client is seeking a Full-Time Staff Frontend Software Engineer based in Toronto, Canada. This opportunity offers a flexible work environment and the chance to build scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend technologies. You'll contribute to high-impact digital products while helping drive the evolution of a growing technology platform.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of professional software development experience
Strong expertise with React and TypeScript
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale web applications
Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and design patterns
Experience with automated testing frameworks and software quality practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working within Agile software development teams
Ability to lead projects from technical planning through production deployment

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with state management libraries and modern frontend ecosystems
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development practices
Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering standards
Experience collaborating with product, design, and business stakeholders
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies
Experience supporting SaaS, enterprise, or platform-based applications
