Location: Tualatin, Oregon (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to manage the development and implementation process of products and services. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products. The manager will monitor projects from initiation through delivery, including planning and directing schedules, monitoring budgets, and organizing activities to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the development and implementation of company products and services.
- Coordinate departmental or cross-functional teams, including hardware, mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines.
- Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, including planning schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
- Organize cross-functional activities to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Guide teams and demonstrate leadership and influence skills to deliver results.
- Present project status and updates to audiences at all levels in the organization.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years' experience; or a PhD with 3+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
Experience: 6+ years of continuous improvement or technical program management in product development. Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies. Experience in product design or direct involvement with Engineering for product development is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management software is required, and Planview experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, QuickBase, or Office Timeline is also beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal project management training such as PMP certification.
- Experience in or knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication or Semiconductor Equipment Operations.
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt).
- Knowledge of Change Management methodologies.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. The work schedule is a regular 40-hour week, Monday through Friday.
