Job DetailsThis Principal Presales Architect leads the design of complex technology solutions for Federal Government customers, aligning a broad portfolio of hardware, software, cloud, services, and third-party technologies to business and technical requirements. The role partners closely with sales and account teams to assess customer environments, develop future-state architectures, present strategic recommendations, and support opportunities through closure. The position also serves as a technical subject matter expert, mentoring teams and partners while providing insights into customer needs, market trends, and emerging technologies.
*This is primarily a remote role with 1x weekly visits to customers in D.C. and up to 20% travel to customer sites as needed*
MUST HAVE:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance WITH a full-scope polygraph
- BS in a related field
- 10+ years of infrastructure engineering/support and systems administration experience
- 5+ years of work with AI, cloud software (open source, containers, virtualization, system management) and hardware (server, storage, networking).
- VMware Virtualization (ESXi, vCenter, NSX)
- Kubernetes and containerized workloads
- AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Federal or DoD customer experience
NICE TO HAVE:
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform architect certifications
- KVM/libvirt
- Certifications: VCP, RHCSA/RHCE, CKA/CKAD
- Security+, CISSP, or CASP+
- DevOps tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Ansible, Terraform
- Identity Management
