Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a UX Researcher for a Remote position with a Global Technology Company located in Remote, CA. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. As a UX researcher, you will have the opportunity to partner directly with a single, tightly integrated product team with significant freedom to operate. This role is essential to conceiving, building, and launching brand new products. Your work will involve formative research to identify latent needs, iterative design research to mold early ideas into testable prototypes, and creative evaluative research to improve products for the market.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver meaningful products
- Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research roadmaps
- Lead various research studies throughout all the phases of the product development cycle
- Contribute to product strategy, execution and go-to-market plan
- Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team
Requirements: - BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Experience with data and utilizing numbers to define and support hypotheses
- Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audiences
- Experience with autonomy and decision making to balance demands
- Experience with questionnaire design, survey programming, and survey quality assurance
- Proficiency with traditional quantitative analysis and tooling (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, SQL) and survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics)
- Experience managing external research vendors
- Experience with AI tools and a willingness to learn
Desired skills: - Experience harmonizing or consolidating multiple tracking instruments into a single framework
- Familiarity with brand health measurement, brand preference research, and brand lift methodology
- Experience with global or multi-market tracking programs
- Experience in the social media, entertainment, or consumer technology category
- Experience partnering with data engineering or analytics teams on data pipelines
- Experience working embedded on a marketing or consumer brand team
- Experience with the global market
- Quantitative skills and knowing how to speak the vendors' language
- Experience working on dashboarding
Pay range: up to $88.50 per hour
