Pay Range: 75-82/hr W2 target
Role Overview
This role is a hands-on engineering position focused on the implementation and operational support of agent and non-human identity security controls. The individual will work closely with existing IAM teams and internal technical leads to implement security mechanisms for securing non-human and agentic identities across AI-driven environments. The emphasis is on the implementation of security controls, particularly around access boundaries, permissions, and reducing risk associated with AI agents.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement identity security controls for non-human and agentic identities.
- Support non-human identity security initiatives.
- Work with cloud-native IAM services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Support enterprise identity provider integrations.
- Configure and maintain cloud IAM controls, including RBAC, ABAC, SCPs, role tagging, and permissions boundaries.
- Implement access and authorization controls to reduce excessive privilege exposure.
- Develop and execute preventative and detective controls for unmanaged or risky identities.
- Perform credential and secrets scanning across AI environments.
- Integrate AI system logs into SIEM pipelines and support the development of detection use cases.
- Support IGA processes, including access reporting, entitlement mapping, and certification for AI-enabled systems.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of cloud experience securing Cloud Compute Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and SaaS Applications. The primary requirement is strong experience in IAM engineering, Cloud IAM, enterprise identity platforms, and cloud service provider identity services. This role requires a hands-on engineering mindset focused on implementation.
Technical Skills:- Strong IAM engineering background with hands-on experience with non-human identities (service accounts, machine/workload identities).
- Deep expertise in AWS IAM or cloud-native identity controls.
- Familiarity with RBAC, ABAC, SCPs, and identity governance frameworks.
- Understanding of privilege escalation risks, containment strategies, and blast radius reduction.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Rego/Cedar policy writing, CIEM and CSPM usage, Github, and IAC providers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AI security, AI systems and controls, or agentic identity concepts.
- Preferred certifications include CCSP and cloud platform certifications (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
- Experience in roles such as IAM Engineer, Identity Platform Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer, or SRE with strong IAM exposure.
