Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join our team in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, with a focus on Azure and database administration. This role requires a strategic thinker who can design and implement cloud solutions that meet business needs while ensuring optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities:
· Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
· Manage and optimize cloud resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture and strategy.
· Oversee database administration tasks, including performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
· Develop and maintain cloud governance policies and best practices.
· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
· Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends to drive innovation.
· Conduct risk assessments and implement security measures to protect cloud environments.
Mandatory Skills:
· Proven experience in Azure cloud architecture and services.
· Strong database administration skills, particularly in AWS and Azure environments.
· Expertise in cloud security best practices and compliance.
· Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 7-10 years of experience in cloud architecture and database administration.
· Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
· Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
· Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud networking solutions.
· Experience with monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments.
