Your New Role
Work as a Low Voltage Technician based out of Winter Park, Florida, with travel to customer locations throughout the service area.
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, service, and maintain low voltage systems for residential and commercial customers.
Work with fire alarm systems, access control systems, automatic gates, security alarms, CCTV systems, and other electronic systems.
Diagnose equipment and system issues, then complete repairs and routine maintenance as needed.
Troubleshoot IP based connectivity issues involving CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and other low voltage systems.
Handle device communication and basic network configuration as part of system troubleshooting.
Complete service documentation and job records accurately.
Communicate professionally with customers about system performance and recommendations.
Work independently or alongside other technicians based on project requirements.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle.
Follow company safety procedures and established industry best practices.

More than 5 years of experience working with low-voltage systems.
Experience with fire alarm systems, automatic gates, access control, CCTV, security alarms, or related technologies is preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and IP-based low-voltage network systems.
Working knowledge of basic networking concepts, including IP addressing, device connectivity, ports, and network troubleshooting as they relate to low voltage systems.
Experience installing and servicing IP-based CCTV, access control, or other network-connected low voltage systems is preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to learn additional low voltage systems through cross-training.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver\'s license.
