Network integration company Advanced Cabling Systems is expanding in Little Rock, Ark., and plans to add 20 to 25 new technology jobs in 2014. Advanced Cabling Systems LogoThe company is adding a 6,100-square-foot building next to its North Little Rock headquarters to house its corporate resources division as well as IT and engineering support, with state incentives dependent on its job-creation plans. ACS specializes in the design and installation of access control systems, voice and data network cabling, security, closed-circuit television and wireless systems. It has 125 employees and satellite offices in Arkansas and Oklahoma. ACS owner Bob East projected 2014 revenue of $20 million and that headcount would grow to 250 to 300 people in five years. The company’s projects have included the casino and gaming operations at the Oaklawn racetrack, security technology for the Southwest Power Pool data center and IP cameras, access control and fire alarm systems at the new Fayetteville, Ark., High School. At the groundbreaking for its new building, the company showed off an unmanned, aerial camera drone that businesses can use for on-site security.
