Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Java, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, and Spring Boot to develop and support real-time streaming applications and cloud-native microservices. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable event-driven systems, deploying applications on AWS, and working in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based Apache Flink streaming applications.
- Build event-driven data pipelines using Kafka/MSK.
- Develop Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs.
- Implement scalable, fault-tolerant streaming solutions using Flink state management, checkpointing, and recovery.
- Deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS MSF/MSK, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production applications.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Must Have Skills
- 7+ years of Java development experience (Java 8/11+)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Flink
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka / AWS MSK
- Experience building Spring Boot Microservices
- REST API development
- GraphQL experience
- AWS Cloud experience
- Docker & Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines
- Schema Registry, Avro, Protobuf, or JSON serialization
- Event-Driven Architecture
