Our client seeks an Applications Developer/Analyst to support and enhance enterprise business applications in a municipal IT environment. The role includes application development, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, testing, and user support while partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $30.00 to $35.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications, reports, and system interfaces.
Support application upgrades, patching, migrations, and testing activities.
Gather and document business and technical requirements.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
Work with end users, vendors, and technical teams to resolve incidents and implement enhancements.
Assist with application migrations and system modernization initiatives.
Create and maintain technical documentation.

Experience Requirements:

1+ year of application development experience.
Experience with C#, .NET, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
Hands-on SQL development experience.
Knowledge of relational databases.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to support production environments and work in a multi-platform technical environment.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred.
