About the Role
We're seeking an Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications using IBM ITX and related technologies. In this remote role, you'll work on database-driven solutions while managing system performance and stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using IBM ITX framework
- Write and optimize SQL queries and database scripts
- Develop solutions in UNIX/LINUX environments
- Work with Sybase databases for data management and optimization
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on development projects
- Document code and maintain technical documentation
- Support application deployments and system updates
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of application development experience
- Strong proficiency with IBM ITX
- Advanced SQL knowledge and experience
- Hands-on experience with UNIX/LINUX environments
- Sybase database experience
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional programming languages (Java, C, Python)
- Knowledge of API development
- Cloud-based application development experience
- Experience in agile/scrum environments
- Performance tuning and optimization skills
