The Engineer II, Release, under general supervision, manages the implementation, planning, execution, control, and closing of projects which cross divisional organizational boundaries; projects which design and implement products affecting the enterprise; or projects which design and implement corporate processes.
This role serves as a key coordination point across engineering, operations, security, and technology teams to improve execution, visibility, accountability, and operational effectiveness while supporting enterprise technology initiatives, remediation programs, automation efforts, and platform modernization activities.
This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California. You will be required to be onsite as needed to participate in meetings.
The salary range for this position is $56,800- $90,000. This posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary above or below this range and is subject to change in the future. Individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, work schedule, travel requirements, sales or revenue targets, and overall business needs and affordability.
What you'll be responsible for:
Performs routine configuration tasks following established procedures.
Works with others to understand basic requirements.
Tracks project progress and reports on status.
Develops basic scripts for automation.
Contributes to the configuration management database.
Monitors basic release metrics.
May perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to have:
Must have 2 years of experience in Powershell and or Python scripting and project coordination/ management.
Experience in managing projects utilizing any of the following types of tools (Jira, Github, Kanban).
Experience in being able to identify and create process automation.
Experience establishing and creating reports.
Effective cross functional collaboration and communication skills.
Must be able to travel up to 15% to attend internal business meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
