Software Test Engineer InternRole Overview: In this role, you will work alongside experienced QA professionals and developers to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will gain hands-on experience with testing methodologies, automated testing tools, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with a unique opportunity to learn how to deploy and validate complex GridOS applications in a simulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases to identify bugs and software defects.
- Documentation: Assist in writing, maintaining, and updating test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
- Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and daily stand-ups to understand requirements and contribute to quality goals.
- Bug Tracking: Document, track, and verify software defects using our internal issue-tracking tools.
- Environment Setup: Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments and data sets.
Required Qualifications:- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Other Eligibility Requirements:- The required work location is Atlanta, GA or Bellevue, WA - 100% onsite.
- Must have the ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience or coursework in testing tools (e.g., Katalon, qTest).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and AWS (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- An interest in performance testing or security testing.
- Minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 4.0 on a 5.0 scale cumulative GPA (without rounding).

The pay for this position ranges from $1,000 weekly to 2,000 weekly based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed.

Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern's permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
