Summary

Role: Quality Assurance Engineering IV

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite)

Duration: 4+ Months (Contract to Hire)

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
  • Strong expertise in API Testing and validation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in test automation using Selenium.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Java or Python.
  • Experience testing web, desktop, and database-driven applications.
  • Experience executing automated and manual test suites across both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, defect lifecycle management, and quality assurance best practices.
  • Working knowledge of database concepts, SQL, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Broad understanding of information systems, including hardware, software, networking, and their integration with business processes.
  • Ability to analyze business, functional, and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and automated test scripts.
  • Experience driving quality initiatives, process improvements, and testing best practices across projects and teams.
  • Knowledge of test planning, resource estimation, test execution, metrics collection, reporting, and quality governance.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Business Analysts, and Operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented culture.
  • Adaptable and flexible in response to evolving business and technical requirements.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively partner with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Quick learner with a continuous improvement mindset and enthusiasm for acquiring new technologies and testing practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, desktop, API, and database applications.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance scalable automation frameworks using Java or Python.
  • Validate system functionality, performance, integration, and data integrity across multiple environments.
  • Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing testing processes, frameworks, standards, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Analyze requirements and technical specifications to develop effective test strategies and coverage.
  • Monitor test execution, collect quality metrics, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Support testing activities across cloud and on-premises environments while ensuring reliability and scalability of test solutions.
