mid-level .NET Engineer to support the modernization of an internal workflow and queue management application. This position will focus on enhancing and maintaining a legacy
C#/.NET Framework web application and its underlying
SQL Server database components. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to improve application stability, usability, and performance while contributing to ongoing modernization initiatives.

ResponsibilitiesApplication Development & Modernization - Support modernization efforts for an existing C#/.NET Framework (4.6/4.8) web application.
- Analyze and enhance application logic, workflows, and data access components.
- Troubleshoot application defects and implement sustainable solutions.
- Contribute to application stability, performance improvements, and feature enhancements.
Database Development - Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database objects including:
- Stored Procedures
- Tables
- Views
- Queries
- Functions and supporting data logic
- Optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries and database performance issues.
- Support data validation and integrity across application workflows.
User Interface Enhancements - Maintain and enhance web user interfaces using:
- Bootstrap
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- jQuery
- Improve user experience, consistency, and maintainability of application screens.
Collaboration & Delivery - Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather and clarify requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, testing activities, defect resolution, deployment readiness reviews, and documentation updates.
- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and technical recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
- Support delivery milestones while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Minimum Qualifications - Hands-on experience developing applications using C# and .NET Framework.
- Experience supporting and enhancing legacy ASP.NET web applications.
- Strong SQL Server development experience, including:
- Stored Procedures
- Complex Queries
- Joins
- Views
- Data Updates and Troubleshooting
- Experience working with web technologies such as:
- Bootstrap
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- jQuery
- Ability to analyze existing codebases and database structures and quickly identify issues and improvement opportunities.
- Experience with:
- Visual Studio
- Git or similar version control systems
- Jira
- Confluence
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile and standard Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) environments.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with workflow management, case management, queue processing, or operational workflow systems.
- Experience supporting business-critical internal applications.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a fixed project timeline.
