I am reaching out regarding a Senior Network Test Engineer opportunity with CivilSoft Technologies, an IT staffing and technology consulting company supporting public sector and enterprise organizations across cybersecurity, ERP, data & analytics, cloud, program management, and managed services.
This is a 6+ month Contract – W2 opportunity for local candidates in Mountain View, CA or Austin, TX.

Role Summary
The role focuses on testing and qualification of carrier-grade networking equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and executing test plans, building multi-vendor network labs, validating performance and scalability, and troubleshooting complex networking issues.
Direct experience with mmWave and E-band point-to-point technologies, including SNR, BER and RSL measurements, is particularly important.
Core Skills Required
• Carrier-grade router/switch testing and qualification
• mmWave / E-band point-to-point technologies
• Ethernet, VLAN, IP, MPLS, BGP and QoS
• Ixia/Keysight traffic generation and analysis
• Multi-vendor network lab environments
• Python/Pytest test automation
• Linux/shell scripting
• PON/OLT/ONT testing is highly desirable
