Job Details
As a Project Engineer, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:
1. Reviewing and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure project compliance.
2. Managing the RFI and submittal process, ensuring timely responses and approvals, and maintaining accurate records.
3. Implementing and maintaining document control procedures, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of project documentation.
4. Coordinating with project teams, including architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure project objectives are met.
5. Procuring materials and equipment, overseeing delivery and installation, and ensuring adherence to project specifications.
6. Utilizing Bluebeam for markup and review of project documents, and for collaboration with project teams.
7. Ensuring high levels of accuracy in grammar and writing in all project communication.
8. Monitoring project progress, identifying issues or delays, and implementing solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
9. Collaborating with the construction management team to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project engineering role in the construction industry.
2. Strong knowledge of construction processes, including RFI, submittals, and document control.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of accuracy in grammar and writing.
4. Proficiency in Bluebeam and other construction management software.
5. Proven ability to procure materials and equipment, and to manage delivery and installation.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
9. U.S. Citizenship is required.
