Job Overview
The Client is seeking a Senior Full Stack/Salesforce Developer to support its mission-critical child welfare applications, including CT-KIND and IV-E.
The selected candidate will participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance, and production support. The primary focus will be supporting existing custom Salesforce applications and contributing to the development of the next-generation CT-KIND system.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions using Salesforce APEX, Lightning Pages, and Visualforce Pages.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using OOP, CRUD, SOQL, and design patterns.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, from requirements through implementation and support.
- Analyze requirements and provide technical solutions for application integrations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Support existing Salesforce applications and contribute to new CT-KIND system development.
- Work with system integrators to support knowledge transfer and ongoing application maintenance.
- Drive assigned work from requirements through implementation.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Work collaboratively with DCF IS management and other technical teams.
- Mentor less-experienced team members when required.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional IT experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce APEX and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Design Patterns.
- Experience with .NET OOP and SOA.
- Experience with SQL.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end web development.
- Experience with C# and JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving and abstract-thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Work Location Requirements
- Candidate must be local to Connecticut or willing to commute/relocate.
- Must be able to work from the office 2 days every 2 weeks or 1 day per week.
- Must attend at least one in-person interview.
- Candidates must be introduced by their vendor during virtual meetings.
- Candidates with professional references will receive consideration.
Background & Screening Requirements
The selected candidate will be subject to DCF background verification, including criminal, employment, education, professional reference, Social Security, civil court, and motor vehicle checks. A 10-panel urine screening is also required.
