Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to be a part of the technical design and implementation Salesforce solutions team. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on development expertise to deliver innovative solutions for our government clients.
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions on a development team.
Key responsibilities include:- Design scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and technical standards
- Lead technical design sessions and provide guidance to development teams
- Develop complex customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies
- Create and maintain technical documentation including solution design documents
- Establish best practices for development, security, and performance optimization
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical oversight of deliverables
- Evaluate new Salesforce features and technologies for potential implementation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions
- Manage integration with external systems and third-party applications
Education and Experience Required:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 6+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
- Tableau Desktop Foundation certification
Required Skills and Competencies:- Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations
- Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce development
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security models and sharing architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Proven experience using Tableau software with Salesforce reporting
- Proven experience designing large-scale Salesforce implementations
- Strong knowledge of API integration patterns and middleware solutions
- Experience with data migration and ETL tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
Security Requirement:- Ability to obtain public trust clearance
Desired Skills and Competencies:- Experience with government IT projects
- Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements
- Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms
- Additional certifications in Salesforce specialty clouds
- Experience with AI/ML implementation in Salesforce
- Experience with GearSet
- Experience with GitHub
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
- Experience with change management in enterprise environments
