Position Overview We are seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support and evolve our hybrid infrastructure environment, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure cloud services, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure technologies. This role will be responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable cloud-based solutions while supporting ongoing modernization initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in Azure infrastructure, identity management, virtual machines, networking, and systems administration. This individual will work closely with infrastructure, networking, security, and business teams to optimize platform performance, enhance operational efficiency, and support future growth. The role offers the opportunity to contribute new ideas, challenge existing processes, and help shape the organization's cloud strategy. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure services across production and non-production environments. Manage Azure Virtual Machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, backup solutions, and disaster recovery services. Support hybrid cloud environments integrating Azure with on-premises infrastructure. Administer and maintain virtualized environments, including VMware platforms. Manage and support identity services, including Entra ID (Azure AD), role-based access controls, and hybrid identity solutions. Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. Implement and maintain infrastructure standards, automation, and cloud best practices. Support infrastructure modernization projects, cloud migrations, and platform upgrades. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and serve as an escalation point for cloud-related incidents. Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system architecture diagrams. Participate in an on-call rotation supporting critical infrastructure systems. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $72.00/hr.
